Company Background

Multicrete Systems Inc. is a group of established construction specialists that provide the mining and tunneling industries with shotcrete, grouting, and concrete programs along with equipment rental options. Multicrete has seven locations spanning across Western Canada with approximately 115 employees and has been a large player in the industry for over 25 years.

After exploring options from three other suppliers, Multicrete selected Zantek to deploy a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) phone system for the company headquarters. Zantek worked closely with Multicrete to implement a tailored voice solution that is transforming how the company communicates.

Challenges

  1. The traditional distinction between voice and data solutions is no longer present with today’s technology. Having two separate providers – one for IT and one for phones was no longer efficient or cost effective
